It's a huge weekend for our hurlers. On Saturday our U14's play Oliver Plunketts at 3.30pm in Tymon in a game which will decide the league.
Our Senior Hurlers have an important fixture on Saturday when they play Cuala away at 5.00pm.
At 11.00am on Sunday morning our Junior A hurlers play league leaders Craobh Chiarain in Clonshaugh in a" top of the league" clash.
All paths lead to Parnell Park after that to support our Junior Hurlers who take on Na Fianna in the Junior Hurling (D) County Final at 12.30pm. Very best of luck to the lads.
What better way to round off the day than to come along to watch the Ballyhea Shield for U14 hurlers which St Judes host each year.Throw in is 5.00pm
between Parish U14's vs. The Rest U14's. Former Cork inter county hurler Mick Regan will present the shield to the winners.
We wish all our above teams the very best of luck .It's important we turn out in big numbers to give them our support.
I want to thank Martin Hayes and those who assisted him for organising the very sucessful Mini All Ireland Hurling competition for U10's and U14's over the past few weekends. Martin has been organising this event for the past 8 years and it continues to go from strength to strength. Well done Martin and thanks for all your hard work.
Finally, very best of luck to our Intermediate footballers who play in the Joy Cup final against Clann Mhuire in Tymon at 12.00pm on Sunday.
Thanks to our PRO Jimmy Harlow for sending out individual notices regarding many of the above fixtures.
Hopefully by 6.00pm Sunday we will have the Junior Hurling Championship Cup, Joy Cup and Ballyhea Shield sitting proudly behind the bar!!
Is mise...
