Juvenile Ladies Football

St Judes entered their first team in Juvenile Football in 1997 at Under 12 Division 2. The formation of this team was in response to representations by local teacher Peter Lucey who had gathered a starry panel of players at Bishop Galvin School and was anxious that they continue at Club level.

In 1999 the section grew when teams were entered at Under 10, 12 and 14 levels. The following season saw the introduction of a team at Under 16 level. From small beginnings in 1997 the Juvenile Ladies section of the Club now caters for over 100 people. During this period St Judes has enjoyed considerable success on the field of play.
