Well done to Kev Mc and the Dublin team who made it two in a row and 4 from 6 All Ireland's after a titanic two match encounter with Mayo. Kevin and Dublin have had an outstanding season and achieved a remarkable feat of going the entire league and championship unbeaten.

Hard luck to the Mayo fans in the club who should be comforted by the fact that an elusive All Ireland cannot be far away judged by their performances over the 2 days.

Longford fans can also be encouraged by the fact they were the last team to beat Dublin in a competitive match. Could this mean they will be a force to be reckoned with in next year's Championship series....? No

Adult Hurling
Well done to the Inter Hurlers on a 2 point semi final win in the championship against Cuala after a fantastic game of hurling. The date/ venue for the final is tba.

Hard luck to the Senior Hurlers who lost out to Lucan after extra time in the county 1/4 final. In a game that could have went either way the final breaks just went Lucan's way. Bugsy, the management team and the entire squad can hold their heads up high after another positive year of senior hurling for the club.

u12 Football
Well done to our u12 Boys Football B squad who won the Div 5 league today with a massive performance out in Hartstown Park against St Peregrines. The lads have battled all year long and grown as a team and played some wonderful football along the way. Congrats to all involved.

Minor Camogie
There will be a meeting on Wednesday 5th October at 7.30pm for all players who are interested in playing on the minor camogie team this year. All players and parents interested are invited to come along.

Playing Facilities Development Plan
The Club is delighted to advise that full planning permission has been granted for the Skills Zone development.  This is another important milestone in delivering our ambitious plans, and we now have all the necessary preparatory work in place to seek Government Sports Capital grant assistance, for the Skills Zone development, when the next programme is announced.

The Club is extremely grateful to all those who have so generously contributed to the plan to date.

We currently have in excess of 350 donors committed to the plan, and we would welcome further support to meet our target of 400 donors.

For further information, please contact any member of the committee (listed below).
