KeyWaste will collect your old Christmas tree on Saturday January 5th for only €5, with all proceeds going directly to support Naomh Jude GAA Club.

The annual Jim Coughlan Memorial Cup takes place on St Stephens Day, Wednesday 26th.

The game starts at 1.30pm. The teams are Married vs Singles. The Married captains are Robert Hyland and Eoghan Mangan who got married this year and the Singles team will be captained by Sean Breheny, Joey Donnelly and Damian Carroll who are getting hitched next year.

Game is on the senior pitch weather permitting after the game the Clubhouse will be open for showers. The bar will be open and we will have entertainment for the kids.

The hugely enjoyable floodlit hurling tournament will make a return in January 2013 over three weekends beginning Sunday 6th January from 6.30-8.30pm.

This is open to all hurlers in the club from u.16 yrs up to senior and indeed, over 40s and novice and lapsed hurlers are especially encouraged to participate. Each participating team will have a representative from various categories. On the la...st occasion many teams were family affairs with Mangans, Crennans and Joyce's amongst those battling for honour so get your selection together early for approval. The lone piper playing the national anthem clearly adding to the nerves of a few stars on final night last time out.

The format will be 7/10 aside depending on numbers. Over 18s will pay a €5 entrance fee towards player of the tournament in the various categories.
